Finally my first post for my new blog, it has only taken me a year to start this. In my last blog I was a newly divorced woman, and I thought my world had ended. Well it is 12 years later and I am still alive and happy. It's true, you will be happy again. I am now living in the Pacific Northwest and today it is sunny, at least it was a minute ago. It has rained so much here and spring has been slow in coming. The sun is a welcome change.
My goal is to share my journey through life and my love of color. I like to quilt, cross stitch, embroidery, color, and I would say knit and crochet but those last two are questionable. I knit scarves and crochet dish rags. I want to crochet as many different colors of rags as I can. I will post a picture when I am done.
This is a quilt I made from old saris. I was given the materials for the inside and added the borders. I made this a few years ago and it was auctioned off. It is much prettier in person.
So let the fun begin with a beautiful purple flower!
